In 1998, I started my career at the B2B advertising agency Gelia, Wells & Mohr outside of Buffalo, NY. While there I worked as a Jr. Art Director on accounts such as RCA and Hannay Reels. Then, in late-2000, I joined the internal creative team of Catholic Relief Services, the international humanitarian arm of the U.S. Catholic church. My tenure at CRS started as a Sr. Graphic Designer which then led to the positions of Art Director, Managing Sr. Art Director and, currently, Associate Creative Director for Marketing and Communications having recently launched our latest brand refresh in over 100 countries across 7 continents.
Working as part of an in-house creative team has given my work meaning and a freedom in my personal life to explore other ventures. Some examples of my extracurricular activities include having been a martial arts instructor, spot illustrator, online cartoonist, live art performer, and father.
