It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Oh yeah, I'm a little crazy.

So here it is, the second reason this blog has been dormant for so long. That’s right, dern and I have decided to take Hello with Cheese to 5x a week. Today, being Tuesday is the first day of the new update schedule. Swing on by, wish us luck but most importantly tell your friends.

Bedlam Court

Welcom to my neighborhood.
You all have been very patient so here is your reward. Today I launch my return to animal cartooning, Bedlam Court. To give you a good feel for what this new comic is going to be i am not launching today with one solitary strip, no. Today I launch the site with comics stacked back to June first. So head on over and give’r a look. Let me know what you think.

Getting Closer

Show some love!

So I spent yesterday prepping the cartoons on the new site for its launch later this month. Unfortunately the site itself isn’t done yet. This is going to be another one of those stress until it happens kind of deals. Awesome.

Sneak A Peak 1

Y’all have been very patient with my lack of updates and I do appreciate it. I promise it will be worth it. I’ve shown the upcoming strip to some webcomic compatriots that had a soft spot for what I used to do with Bassetville and I’ve been given the thumbs up on my return to animal-type cartooning.

Evolution Evolves

Someday I'm going to expand/add to this.

Spent this morning turning this illustration into some t-shirt design options (that should be available by Balticon). If you haven’t seen it before you can get the full color desktop version over at Hello with Cheese. Just scroll down to my section of the commentary for links to the desktops.

Furry Little Canadian

Whachu lookin at, Bub?

With his movie opening this weekend I just couldn’t resist. Of course when he was requested I’m sure you were all hoping for Hugh Jackman.

BTW, you get a twofer today. I’ve stepped in this Friday to help out my friends over at fragile gravity with a guest strip. So go have a look.

Jogging the Memory

Happy (possibly a little violent) tree hugger.

Today’s sketch was done during panel by R.K. Milholland of Something Positive on Saturday at Ravencon. Sure it is a little more violent than I usually post but sometimes that just happens. I’ll go back to cuter tomorrow when I get back to the request list. Randy and his significant other, Erin were a complete delight to hang out with this weekend and I hope to get the chance again.

The other webcomic guests were first time meets as well. First off was Chris Hazelton of Misfile whose insight on legal issues concerning webcomics and entertainment was extremely informative and entertaining. Chris was also an extremely nice guy with a beautiful wife and newborn along for the ride.

There was also Eric Kimball of many webcomic properties but I am going to only link Legacy because I am pretty sure this is his favorite. Eric was also a great guy that I am hoping to get to spend some more time with next month at Balticon.

And finally, Rob Balder of Erfworld. I only saw him a little and have talked about him before so he just get’s the link.

All in all Ravencon was a lot of fun. There are a few more interesting bits and people that came out of it but I shall leave that for later down the road.
