New Life, New Comic

On April 13, 2013 the Wife and I welcomed a new Peanut into our life. In celebration of that gift I’ve launched a new series over at BedlamCourt.com.

The difference between this series of illustrations (or webcomic, if you’d like) and my past pursuits is that I haven’t just buffered out a couple weeks to make sure I’m not under the gun, I’ve buffered out the whole year. Bedlam Court is guaranteed to run once a week until April 13, 2014. If that update schedule is ever increased it is guaranteed to run at it’s new frequency until that date.

So if you’ve been missing me updating this site, still have me in your feed reader, or just wandered here on a lark head on over and enjoy the show: currently updating every Saturday.

Like A Boss

Today is the final sketch from the original set of link art originally done for Hello with Cheese. For that last day I have saved the hardest hustling woman in webcomics, Onezumi (& her man toy, Harknell). Oni has been busting her tail in the webcomic world for as long as I’ve been a part of it and if you follow the link in her name you can see all that work. However, what I think you should really be paying attention to is the new convention she and her husband launched last year, Intervention. I went last year and I will be joining them again this September. If you live in the Maryland/DC area I highly recommend checking the con out this year.

Caf-fiend-ated

Cthulhu and coffee
what else do you need. I met Blondie (an absolute sweetheart) and Kevin (an absolute…well…I like him) a few years ago through dern. I always look forward to when these two come into the area for a con (& I’ve heard tell that they are mighty accommodating if you travel to their neck of the woods as well).

Dot Dang

Wow, I really dislike looking at this drawing. In His Likeness is a very funny strip with a full cast of deities done all in very simplified, dot-centric artwork. But drawing stylized fan art for dots… a lot harder than you’d think.

A Valley of Suddenness

Keeping with my Super Art Fight theme from yesterday today’s link art was done for the former SAF Champion, Jamie Baldwin. Her comic Sudden Valley has (had? it hasn’t updated since December) a very cool art style. I dig it.
