The Wife introduced me to a cappella group Straight No Chaser this weekend. Awesome. I don’t care if you are sick of Christmas music, if you haven’t heard their version of the 12 Days yet (and since I’m usually behind on this kind of stuff you may have) you need to. If you like this kind of suff I’d suggest heading over to their site as well seeing as, because of youtube interest, they got back together. Yay internet.

How do Frances and Coraline react to animated holiday decorations? Now you know.

Last year my folks gave us a dog that “sings” a holiday rendition of Shout. This year The Wife and I decided we had to play it at least once just in case my mom asked. We decided to play it at dog level because we thought it was funny. Frances did not appreciate the joke.

So this is my first Christmas with a cat. Joy. Where I am used to having to pick things up because my clumsy dog would knock them down on the way by I now have to watch out for Coraline who is purposely is attacking the decorations. Oh, and she knows she shouldn’t be doing it, too. She KNOWS. The worst part?

Frances is taking notes.

Took me long enough to get this one out this morning, no color. Ah well. Does bring back some memories though.

BTW: The System hit strip #100 yesterday (the first webcomic benchmark) with a really cool over sized installment. Definitely worth a look.

You may have seen me mention this on Twitter over the last week or so but I realized I hadn’t actually brought it up on the blog. This past month I found out the first webcomic I ever followed started updating again last month. I am thrilled about being able to put it back into my Monday comic list. Do yourself a favor and go check out the morbidly funny Voices in My Hand.

Last day of a short week and I found out last night that they are closing the office early. So yeah, I pretty much have one thing on my mind. Not sure what my updating is going to be like over the weekend. I might, I might not. We’ll just have to see.
