This sketch actually made its way onto twitter Friday when its subject matter, Lar DeSouza shared it with his followers. (BTW – if you click that link and then go one pic back you will see the outfit that inspired the sketch.) I’m not sure how many of you would follow us both so I don’t feel so bad using it as my Monday sketch (though if you did wander over thanks to that, howdy).

There is TOO a dog in there.

Blame The Wife for this one. She showed me this video. After watching that there was no question I was going to be drawing it eventually.

I mean come on. A blue tick hound AND an orangutan… gold.

We can blame this one on a need to start working on some close ups and my friends sitting me down to watch Black Dynamite. Which, by the way, is a pretty darn entertaining movie.

Heard over my shoulder as I was finishing this one up over lunch: “Oooo, I’ll take one of those.”

I’ll be honest, the rest of this sketch was a mess. Once I got rid of the rest I really liked what I had left.

Seeing as the Oscars were last night I figured I should start the week off with a pretty dress.
