Today is the final sketch from the original set of link art originally done for Hello with Cheese. For that last day I have saved the hardest hustling woman in webcomics, Onezumi (& her man toy, Harknell). Oni has been busting her tail in the webcomic world for as long as I’ve been a part of it and if you follow the link in her name you can see all that work. However, what I think you should really be paying attention to is the new convention she and her husband launched last year, Intervention. I went last year and I will be joining them again this September. If you live in the Maryland/DC area I highly recommend checking the con out this year.

Cthulhu and coffee what else do you need. I met Blondie (an absolute sweetheart) and Kevin (an absolute…well…I like him) a few years ago through dern. I always look forward to when these two come into the area for a con (& I’ve heard tell that they are mighty accommodating if you travel to their neck of the woods as well).

Wow, I really dislike looking at this drawing. In His Likeness is a very funny strip with a full cast of deities done all in very simplified, dot-centric artwork. But drawing stylized fan art for dots… a lot harder than you’d think.

Back to the link art (only 5 more to go after this one). This here warrior is Lord Hamster, Parson Gotti, from the comic Erfworld. Since I’m friends with both the writer, Rob Balder, and the original artist of Erfworld I have draw their characters a few times. This has to be one of my favorites.

Said artist was one Jami Noguchi, one of my Super Art Fight compatriots. You should also check out his current comic, Yellow Peril.

For today’s link I’m going to group two cuties together, Bree & Ami of NERD Comics. Ami is the creator of Glass Urchin while Bree is the driving force behind the other 2 features on the site, Sex, Drugs & June Cleaver and Mysterious Ways, Inc.. I’ve seen these 2 fun-loving ladies at a few cons over the years. They are always a lot of fun. They’ve even joined in on the super art fight fun on occasion as well (Ami can be seen in the photo used when we were mentioned on WIRED.com).

Lambda Sigma Rho

Today’s guest art was pretty much a straight up lift of the frat house in the Super Frat comic‘s masthead. I’ve never met the writer, Tony, but the illustrator Chris and I’ve hung out with at a few cons while he was still on the east coast. A really nice guy whose work I love. I even have a few pieces hanging around the house.
