Bedlam Court

Welcom to my neighborhood.
You all have been very patient so here is your reward. Today I launch my return to animal cartooning, Bedlam Court. To give you a good feel for what this new comic is going to be i am not launching today with one solitary strip, no. Today I launch the site with comics stacked back to June first. So head on over and give’r a look. Let me know what you think.

The Difference

woohoo, ahem. I said, "WOOHOO!!!"
Oh the difference a day makes. Folks we are now on schedule. The new site isn’t perfect but it WORKS!!! I’ll be figuring out what bits need to be tweaked and attended to but the important bit, the comic, is all set and viewable. I am in such a better place today that not even my alarm failing to go off put me out of my good mood.

Launch Stressed

Who needs anger management?

So yeah, new comic is supposed to launch on Monday. The site still doesn’t work. This is killing me. Here’s hoping.

Sketch test

I felt like testing out uploading a post from my phone today to finally test this app out. Just a random sketch from my book. Hopefully this works.

Update: testing out some photo adjustment apps for my phone. Same sketch. Any better?

Once more, using Photo fx:

Getting Closer

Show some love!

So I spent yesterday prepping the cartoons on the new site for its launch later this month. Unfortunately the site itself isn’t done yet. This is going to be another one of those stress until it happens kind of deals. Awesome.

Sneak A Peak 1

bedlam-court-sketch2

Y’all have been very patient with my lack of updates and I do appreciate it. I promise it will be worth it. I’ve shown the upcoming strip to some webcomic compatriots that had a soft spot for what I used to do with Bassetville and I’ve been given the thumbs up on my return to animal-type cartooning.

Wonton Wrinkles

sharpei

One of the cool things about this digital age is running into friends of old. Recently I got back in touch with a friend from back in elementary school that has the same kind of feelings toward sharpeis as I have for bassets. After a couple of back and forths I realized I don’t think I’ve ever tried to draw one, so here is my first attempt. I think I like it.

Oh, and if you are wondering about the title it was the name of the sharpei my aunt and uncle had when I was a kid, Wonton Wrinkles. That dog was scared of his own shadow.
