Just Call

I found the complete George of the Jungle series last night for 5 bucks. That is the only hint you get.

Still not quite up to speed this morning. Some of you may have seen me post the above picture on Twitter last Friday. It is just a little something I’ve been sketching out here at work for the past week or so on the box my computer was delivered in.
It’s better than nothing, right?

Hey folks, I haven’t forgotten about you. Balticon was an absolute blast last weekend and I have some cool new people to share with you but I am lacking the time to sit down and do a proper post. Unfortunately the distributor in my car went yesterday and I’ve been dealing with that. Hopefully I’ll have something for you later tonight or tomorrow.
EDIT: Doh! I forgot, I’m in the fragile gravity strip today. But fair warning when/if she links the drawing in question if you have kids or any particular love for Spongebob Squarepants, don’t click the link.

So I started off this morning thinking I was drawing Cali Lewis of GeekBrief.tv. But the more I looked at it I realized if I just changed the colors a little bit I would have the actress who played Diane on Cheers.

Now I don’t know who I drew. Not that I drew either likeness particularly well, mind you.
Just a reminder: you can find me at Balticon tonight until Sunday. Look for me on panels or behind the dernwerks table.

I’m not sure I mentioned it here or not but back in February I went back to my old kung-fu school and started training again. Since I focus on internal Chinese style martial arts meditation is a large part of my improvement process. Coraline has decided she likes it when I meditate and starts rubbing on my legs (and hands if I’m near a table). This makes it a little more difficult to concentrate than normal.

Just a quick update to yesterday’s post. BROOD now has a picture of the framed artwork up for the online auction.

What you see above is the original art I donated this year to BROOD’s annual Ramble fundraiser. The art measures aprox 6″x9″ on a 9″x12″ sheet of watercolor paper. It has been framed and matted by BROOD. Want to own it? Head on over to their online auction and place a bid. Unfortunately as of this post their pic of the art is broken but it is the third entry down. The online portion of the auction ends May 27th and will be continued live at the Ramble Saturday May 30. See their fine print before you bid.
BROOD is the basset hound rescue group I adopted Frances from over 4 years ago.
