Run Away

In my reality this does not end how you think it ends.

Back to the Looney Tunes today. Request one get a second thrown in for free. Of course, how could I draw one half of this duo without the other. Sheesh, now I feel like doing nothing but sitting and watching cartoons all day.

You’re right, that really isn’t any different than any other day.

Go Back, WABAC

Set the WABAC machine to 1960.

I almost got a good night’s sleep last night except, I didn’t.

All these cartoon shorts from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show make me nostalgic. Specifically for Canada. They always remind me of trips to visit my Dad’s side of the family. Ooo, I just added George of the Jungle to the list.

Back to the List

Of course, I decide to draw a character based on a desert the week I adjust my diet.

Here we go back to the request list. Today is a little rough, I did not sleep well last night. So what you are going to end up with from me is a list of some of the other cool people I got to spend some time with at Ravencon over the weekend. I promise to try to sleep more for tomorrow.

Authors: Robert V. Aldrich, Davey Beauchamp, David B. Coe, Gail Z. Martin, Peter Prellwitz, Tony Ruggiero & Valerie Griswold-Ford (who has tapped me to do an illustration for an upcoming anthology)

Podcasting’s Rich Sigfrit

Science super couple Laura Burns and John Cmar.

And finally Kara Dennison of the comic site conscrew and the comedy group Luna-C.

Those are enough links to keep you busy for a while.

Jogging the Memory

Happy (possibly a little violent) tree hugger.

Today’s sketch was done during panel by R.K. Milholland of Something Positive on Saturday at Ravencon. Sure it is a little more violent than I usually post but sometimes that just happens. I’ll go back to cuter tomorrow when I get back to the request list. Randy and his significant other, Erin were a complete delight to hang out with this weekend and I hope to get the chance again.

The other webcomic guests were first time meets as well. First off was Chris Hazelton of Misfile whose insight on legal issues concerning webcomics and entertainment was extremely informative and entertaining. Chris was also an extremely nice guy with a beautiful wife and newborn along for the ride.

There was also Eric Kimball of many webcomic properties but I am going to only link Legacy because I am pretty sure this is his favorite. Eric was also a great guy that I am hoping to get to spend some more time with next month at Balticon.

And finally, Rob Balder of Erfworld. I only saw him a little and have talked about him before so he just get’s the link.

All in all Ravencon was a lot of fun. There are a few more interesting bits and people that came out of it but I shall leave that for later down the road.

Aluminumaluminum

I don't know enough about Tintin to make a good (or bad) joke.

And here we go, so how did I do” Did I rock a Tintin redux? I’ve never drawn him before so I’m curious.

Currently it is actually Thursday Wednesday night and I’m getting myself ready for Ravencon. I’m hoping to do another post tomorrow but I don’t have anything drawn yet…and I’m not certain I will get to it before I leave, we’ll see.

Hopefully, I’ll see some of you there. If not I’ll see you back here Monday.

Play That Funky Music White Boy

Beethoven never had days like this.

Here is one more piece of peanuty goodness before I start screwing up some other family classics. I’m really having some fun with this.
