Duuuuhhhh

Can you hear the whistling sound?

Once again I make something out of having nothing (as far as ideas go).

A random little hodge podge.

Since I missed the Saturday Scribble this weekend here is a little two-fer for today. A lot on my plate this Monday so it is best I get to it.

Yay Spring!

In real life Frances would be sneezing and Coraline would've eaten the flower.

Friday. First day of Spring. Is good.

One little clarification on yesterday’s post: I just want to point out that this new strip will have no connection with Bassetville or Frances & Friends. All new characters, all new interactions. (The real Coraline and Frances will keep showing up here, obviously.) The launch is currently planned for August 31 but I’m sure I’ll have little sneak peeks here and there along the way.

Oh, and thank you for the interest! You have no idea how much that helps me actually sit down and press on.

Welcome to the Bedlam

Get ready for the Bedlam.

So, I really had no plans of showing you these critters yet… However, the more I try not to draw them the less I can draw anything else, which makes a daily sketch blog kinda difficult. So here they are 3/4 of the main cast. Inside scoop, WOOOO, I know you are thrilled.

Let’s face facts for a minute. A couple weeks ago I realized that of all the cartooning projects I’ve started (14+) 5 have seen the light of screen and I would only call 3 a success (and that may be stretching it). This makes me a little nervous showing you anything ahead of production. But… this is what is in my head and some of you from the Bassetville days might enjoy the thought of me going back to an animal based strip so… wish me luck?
