Orc of my Mind

Happy & cute but ugly.

Hmm, I drew an orc on a hunt (in my mind) on a day I can’t have meat. I finally understand where this sketch came from. Weehoo, win.

Walk and Chew Gum

Three steps later I would have tripped.

Today’s sketch got pulled out of a scribble. I meant to save the original scribble so you could see where I started but I accidentally drew on the wrong layer. Oh well. You can still see a little bit of it in his shirt.

Uhm…

I've got nuthin'.

Yeah, today was a day where there was no plan, this just came out.
An alternate universe Bobby Flay?
Hipster art teacher?
I don’t know.

With Pollock Precision

TIIIIIIMBERRRRR!!!

So painting was a success this weekend. The only unpainted surfaces around the house are in closets and I am ok with that (for now).

Although today’s sketch would lead you to believe otherwise the girls were on their best behavior this weekend. Both Coraline and Frances left me (and The Wife) alone to get everything painted. We didn’t even have to lock them up. Which is a good thing because we have a 12′-16′ high ceiling in the topmost stairwell.

Daddy don’t like heights.

Squidilicious

calimarific

I did a few of these on cardboard sketches last weekend at Katsucon while I was behind the table. I’ll pull out the other 2 at some later point.

Wrap up

Painting with a dog and a cat, yeah... this is going to be fun.

Before I disappear into my honey-do list for today I just wanted to do a quick post. I’m sure you can tell what I am going to be doing this weekend. That’s right, keeping the kids out of the paint (and hopefully getting some on the walls).

Here are the last few clean up webcomic links from last weekend: Fragile Gravity (my buds whose comic wraps this year so get on it), Conscrew (whose cosplay didn’t scare me) & Girl Genius (which I haven’t read yet but is supposed to be awesome)

Ok, I think that is everyone… NO… AMUS World, duh. Check it out, it’s knit! (No, that isn’t a typo. EDIT: but it is incorrect, the characters are crocheted.)
