After doing some furniture rearranging around the house I’ve had to put a couple book collections on the headboard of my bed to keep them out of the way. It actually looks kinda nice but unfortunately Coraline has taken to climbing the heights in the middle of the night. This isn’t usually a problem unless she decides to start digging at the books. You see I like these books, so when I hear this I reach up and remove her… most of the time.

This weekend Coraline learned how to use Usagii Yojimbo book #17 as projectile. Caught me square in the noggin. At least I went back to sleep fast enough.

Today’s Pic of the Week is a beautiful basset by the name of Charlotte. Turns out she was adopted from the same rescue group I got Frances from, BROOD.

So during the week I’ve been, for the most part, doing the daily sketch digitally. I’ve realized that I have a ton of little sheets of paper all over the place left over from my 4×4 days. So I figure I’m going to try to start doing some quick sketch deals to start posting Saturday’s. We’ll see how long it lasts but what the heck, why not. Only rules will be draw, scan, resize. That’s it.

Very tired this morning and I’m not really sure why. I almost fell asleep during my ride into work today. I ride the metro so no one was in danger but… I really don’t like the idea of sleeping on the subway on my way into work. Something about public sleeping. Vulnerability. Meh, whatever.

Of course, it could have something to do with the time I fell asleep in Art History 101 and woke myself up by kicking a Snapple bottle down the concrete steps. (Prof. loved me that day.)
