When living in Pittsburgh, I saw my commute on the bus as an easy way to catch a nap, and I always woke up right before my stop. Well...almost always. Once, I slept past my stop, and didn't wake up until the end of the line WAY WAY past where I lived. I had no idea where I was, but had to get off the bus anyway. Luckily, a bus going the other way soon came by and took me home. I had a very strange conversation with a teenaged girl who was pregnant for the 2nd time and asking my advice! All I could say was "I'm an accountant! You need a therapist...." I have a friend who travels from Baltimore(ish) to DC every day, and not only sleeps on the train, but brings a pillow and blanket! I can sleep anywhere at any time, and often fall asleep within seconds! Did have a pervert next to me one time reading porn and making sure that I was completely aware of what he was reading. I wish I could have slept through that experience. While living in Japan, I got pretty good sleeping standing up on a moving metro train.
