In between banging my thumb with a hammer and putting together my new closet this weekend I decided to settle down with my buddy Michael Bracco‘s Novo books. I love this series and I can’t wait to pick up the latest one (just released). (He allso just did an All-Ages GN called Adam Wreck.)

This sketch isn’t of any of the characters but I can definitely see the influence of his style in it.

Also, he’s a Baltimore boy. So, local economy and all that.

Started keeping a completely non- Hello with Cheese sketchbook today. My coworkers brought it back for me from a paper show. I really have no idea why I started on the cover instead of the first page. It just needed it.

Ok, so your first though was probably, “wow, Bryan’s getting lazy.” And my only response is, “what do you mean getting?”
