Super Art Fight
So last Saturday I spent the day at Tigercon and I had a great time. It was the Towson University Anime Club’s first attempt at putting on a mini-convention and they did a great job. Lots of cool stuff happened but today I want to talk about Super Art Fight.
You’ve heard me mention it before but this was the first time I actually got to see one in action. And a Tag Team battle no less. Depicted in the sketch above are Anath (applegeeks.com), Yuko (johnnywander.com), Jami and Nick (2 of the SAF co-creators). It was a ton of fun and I am really looking forward to the next Super Art Fight on December 20th. I have actually been challenged to a Duel in Clay while there but more on that later. If you want to see pictures from the event (as well as what the actual art looked like) Nick has put some up on his Flickr account (and some from Anath’s AppleGeek partner, Hawk).
And finally, since we are in an art fight state of mind. Nick and his writing partner Marty have started up a new comic, Art Fight High School. I got a look at the art last week and can’t wait to head over and check out the final product myself.
