Business Type Musings

So, back to business as usual.
Speaking of “business”, the cards went over like gangbusters this weekend at Balticon. I loved watching the recognition on everyone’s faces when they realized that they were all original drawings. For the most part people just pulled from the drawings I already had done but I did fill out a few requests. My only regret there is that I don’t have scans of the on-the-spot illustrations. I should probably start bringing a camera.
Interestingly enough the cards were an excellent access point for my good friend Barb (of Fragile Gravity along with her partner Chris) to start needling me (again) about putting a book together. She thinks I should do one containing my black and white illustrations. I’m considering it. I think I might do a mix of those Broken Muzzle cartoons I did and put the card illustration in the back.
What do you think? Would you be interested?
(Also welcome to everyone James sent over from IHL. If you are interested in checking out the work I had shown him go here to see it. And no, you don’t need to have an iPod. Just download the PDF version of any episode to check it out right on your computer. Though I do prefer how it looks on an ipod.)

I guess I just can’t get enough of Frances and the gang. I think a book is a wonderful idea, but I would love to see you do the illustrations of a Basset Hound book.
