Goin’ back to Cali

I really am a geek at heart. I love hearing about tech stuff even though I can’t use or afford most of it. About 2-3 weeks ago I stumbled across a podcast named GeekBrief.tv hosted by Cali Lewis (sketched above). They had me hooked from the first episode I watched because they actually talked about a piece of equipment I am looking to get someday.

Anyway if you like getting your tech news in an EXTREMELY happy, perky manner I highly suggest this show.

It makes me not miss Tech TV (I am way too old for G4) anymore.

Ravencon

For any of you out there that live in (or feel like traveling to) the Richmond, VA area I will be at Ravencon this coming weekend. You’ll be able to find me on, I believe, all of the webcomic panels. For any of you that go to Monacan High School and are in Ms. Riser’s 5th period Art Class (talk about a small demographic) I’ll be speaking to you all on Friday.

Guess I should really figure out what I’m going to say, huh?

Double Whammy

It’s raining this morning and I have to go to the dentist. Happy Monday.

I did have a good weekend though. Coolest part? After writing up a new bio page (because if you’ll remember all my extra pages disappeared a few weeks ago) I stumbled across the missing rescue list and Bassetville archive pages. I can’t begin to explain to you how happy I am that I don’t have to recreate them.

Now if they will just stick around this time.

PotW: Beau

Today’s Pick of the Week is the obviously spoiled little man of one of my coworkers. His name is Beau.

As always, leave a caption in the comments. I am depending on you.

Last week’s winner:
PotW Figaro

…I wonder if I can get out that door there…. -Cheryl B.
(longer caption edited down)

The PotW contest can only last so long without your help. So send those pictures of your pets to me here at potw@bryanprindiville.com.

Better Than One

Wanted to do something not cute and furry this morning so I decided to do a study of expressions. I have this cool little 4 faces of Buddha brass statue my Aunt-in-law gave me that worked as the inspiration. There’s a little Miyazaki influence in there as well.
