Feeling Sluggish

Still feeling a little out of it this morning but at least I am moving. That is a much better start than yesterday. Now if I can just keep my head in the game and make it through the workday. I have a lot of stuff I need to get done both here and at home.

Don’t be steamed

Sorry for the quick (& late) post today, folks. I didn’t wake up until noon and don’t feel so hot. Now I am gong to make myself some tea, some soup and crash in front of my tv guilt free for the remainder of the day. It’s kind of my “I’m sick” ritual.

How about you? Do any of you have any “I’m sick” rituals?

Sheople (or Sheeple)

I can’t really take credit for this concept. The drawing sure, but if memory serves me correctly the idea came from a gentleman by the name of Dale Josephs during a discussion about politics at Ravencon this weekend. Other participants were authors Gail Z. Martin, David B. Coe and Philip McCall II. All of whom I met for the first time this weekend. Click their names for more of their work. All of which is worth checking out.

PotW: Tucker

For today’s Pick of the Week we are graced by another brittany rescue. His name is Tucker and I swear I have not altered this photograph.

Captions: Leave ‘em if you’ve got ‘em.

Last week’s winner:
PotW Beau

Beau is short for “beauty sleep” as in, I need to get SOME, so SCRAM!! -Colleen

The PotW contest can only last so long without your help. So send those pictures of your pets to me here at potw@bryanprindiville.com.

Slow Start

I am truly enjoying dragging my feet this morning. I don’t have to be in Richmond until The Brother-in-law is out of work and as long as I manage that before rush hour I’m a happy boy.

Now if I am being honest with you folks I think this goofy looking fellow above is the best self portrait I have ever done. I think it fully encapsulates the shape of my head, the goofiness of my nature and my inherent need for coffee. (And yes, the beard is back. Shaving didn’t last long.)

Also a quick little reminder that Beau is kind of lonely and would like you to leave him a few more captions.

Goin’ back to Cali

I really am a geek at heart. I love hearing about tech stuff even though I can’t use or afford most of it. About 2-3 weeks ago I stumbled across a podcast named GeekBrief.tv hosted by Cali Lewis (sketched above). They had me hooked from the first episode I watched because they actually talked about a piece of equipment I am looking to get someday.

Anyway if you like getting your tech news in an EXTREMELY happy, perky manner I highly suggest this show.

It makes me not miss Tech TV (I am way too old for G4) anymore.

Ravencon

For any of you out there that live in (or feel like traveling to) the Richmond, VA area I will be at Ravencon this coming weekend. You’ll be able to find me on, I believe, all of the webcomic panels. For any of you that go to Monacan High School and are in Ms. Riser’s 5th period Art Class (talk about a small demographic) I’ll be speaking to you all on Friday.

Guess I should really figure out what I’m going to say, huh?
