Insane in the Membrane

brain

Oy! I have a lot on my mind this morning. So much so I couldn’t even come up with a mildly clever visual pun. Just a brain.

Hopefully yours are working better than mine and can leave me some good captions for yesterday’s Pic of the Week.

PotW: Leia

Leia

This week’s PotW is a beautiful full blooded basset named Leia! Although I was supposed to meet Leia in person at an ABC picnic a little over a year ago alas it never came to be.

As always, leave a caption below in the comments. And if you would like to get your little one in the contest pop on over here to find out how.

Last week’s winner:
Frances on the Floor
darn it, my reclining human broke again. -Josh B

Actually, he wrote more but that’s the part that won.

Revisionist History

Dragon Dog

I think, that if dragons had been more like dogs there would be more left.

It’s Friday. What do you want from me?

Bad Back

torture rack

Ugh, I just can’t seem to get my back into alignment this morning. I just feel stiff. If only I had such means at my disposal. Well, I am at work, surely they have to have torture devices down in HR somewhere, right?

Y’know what would make me feel a little better though. Just a few more captions for the PotW contest. Last month’s winners are collected, finished and have been put into March 11th initial Frances & Friends cartoon. Remember, you’ve seen the pictures. You’ve seen the captions. What you haven’t seen as what I do with the two of them together.

So get in n the fun and go leave Frances some more to chose from.

Muppet Show Reject

Alien Frog

As for where this…thing…came from, I blame Jim Henson.

I really need to start working on my sci-fi project again.

I Got Sucked In

tv

I didn’t do a blessed thing last night. I was planted in front of the television for about 4 hours.

It felt gooooood.

Pattern lifted from mentalbay.com.

Good Ol’ Charlie

Charlie Chaplin

One of the presents The Wife and I got for the wedding was tickets to go see four Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performances. Saturday night was performance #2 of the 4, Charlie Chaplin’s City Lights. We spent the evening watching the movie while a live orchestra played the score.

Simply amazing.
