Why did I draw a caricature of Obama this morning?

Because I couldn’t draw McCain.

It really is the little things in life that can turn a grumpy day into a good one. I woke up this morning feeling not the least but rested. Not a bad mood mind you, just drained. For those of you that don’t know, I am an early bird. Generally into the office before 7:00 which usually means I’m the first one in. Being the first one in, I make the coffee. Every day. For a few years now.

This morning, I get off the elevator, walk through the door (that is already propped open), straight to the kitchen and what do I see? That bitter brown liquid flowing like a river into an already positioned, perfectly placed receptacle. I never would have guessed it but I woke up there on the spot and said, out loud:

Today is a good day.

I still have to wait a week but if you can get out there, vote today.
I don’t care what party or for who, just do it.

It is finally Friday and I am FINALLY in a 100% good mood. Been fighting that all week. I’m a little behind where I want to be for March 11th’s launch of Frances and Friends but I should be able to clear that all up and be good by Monday.

Hmmm… maybe if I get it done this weekend I’ll post a panel next week. What do you think, would you like a sneak peak or rather a big reveal all at once?
