Brufus the Bulldog

After a brief diversion into Fan Art yesterday I have taken a step back to original work today. Above you get your first look at Brufus the Bulldog (or Boo-dog if you are a cheerleader). With a little bit of work he may just make it into the cast of characters of Frances and Friends (Clickwheel.net: March 11).
Brufus is the combination of two things from my youth. First, my high school mascot was a bulldog. Second, I have this wonderful ability to have the thoughts in my head become completely scrambled somewhere between my brain and my mouth. At one point I was talking the friend that would become my best man later on and in a conversation about wrestling (yes, dorks) I turned “Brutus the Barber Beefcake’ into “Brufus Barfus” without even noticing.
He hasn’t let me forget since.
Speaking of forgetting, don’t forget Hunter, this week’s PotW, he needs some more captions. And, btw, he is a black and tan beagle, not a Rottweiler.

Bryan, this drawing tells me you are inspired and influenced by all things/conversations, etc. That is a sign of a true artist.
By the way, with the new comic strip coming, are we going to need any special computer programs to view the strip? You said it would be animated, I am wondering if I will be able to view it.

Good question, the answer is yes and no. Hopefully, the animated version of the cartoon will be viewable online or easily downloaded and viewed through Quicktime.
There will be a version where you can scroll through the panels at your own speed which will be best viewed on an ipod. You will also be able to see each individual panel but we are talking a number up in the area of 75-100.
