Bassetville Archive
Ever since I consolidated my cartooning onto this blog I have had some side effects I didn’t really like. I love using it to upload random art and keeping up with my cartooning but I never liked how my Bassetville strip transferred onto the new blog. Well, now I’ve taken some time to resolve that issue.

Bassetville was a great learning curve for me. Sometimes I wish I knew a little more before I started it. The difference from when I started to now is pretty apparent. Any opinions out there on whether I should think about doing a Bassetville 2.0?
If so tell me what you liked about the strip. What should I keep and what should I lose?
This is all theoretical at the moment but if I get enough positive responses I may consider it.

Have you tried a different WordPress theme that might help with Bassetville rendering properly?

Honestly I haven’t played around with it much. All I did was alter the old site’s css to work with the new site archive.

I love Bassettville and miss it very much. I stuck with you when you changed your strip because you said that Francis and gang would make apperances from time to time. Please bring it back….I am enjoying going back over the old strips.

I loved Bassettville. I used to have a basset, and regardless of breed, I can relate to Bryan as a dog owner. I didn’t find the strip until closer to its end, so I initially found the distinction between imaginary and real friends a little difficult to follow. I do love them all, though, especially now that I’ve gone back and read the beginning strips.
