Erfworld

Way back when I first started wasting time doing webcomics I met a gentleman by the name of Rob Balder. AT my first convention hetook the time to explain to me the ins and outs of how to do a webcomic as he saw it. I was amazed at the amount of information he was giving me freely. And he was doling it out coherently considering he was 3 sheets to the wind.

I’ve known Rob for 4 years now. I learned that night was nothing special. He’lll talk to anyone about webcomics while he is drunk or sober.

Erfworld is Rob’s foray into big scheme webcomic storytelling with the uber-artist Jamie Naguchi. Jamie’s work is fantastic and he really knows his way around color and characters. But don’t just take my word on it. Check out Erfworld yourself and see the amazing things he does with Rob’s words.

UPDATE: No my wife does not make pretzles. Thanks, Rob.

Alien Loves Predator

Alrighty, I’m going to start this shindig off with a little piece for my buddy Bernie of Alien Loves Predator. I’ve never done fan art of his strip before, which, truth be told is what I am going for in this round of fan art. Some of the comics I read but have done anything for as of yet.

Bernie is a great guy and does an awesome strip when he has time. Unfortunately he loves his day job and his family so he isn’t actively updating the comic (he says he has something brewing though). He does continue to update his blog however and his take on fatherhood especially is quite amusing.

Remember, I will be doing fan art twice a week, let’s say Monday & Friday with random posts in between until the launch of my new project. Well, hopefully until the launch of the project as long as there aren’t any delays.

And we’re back…

Well, now that that is over with… Seriously, we had a beautiful day. Great weather. Lots of fun. Friends and family. The honeymoon, awesome.

But now I am back and I have been neglecting my cartooning duties far too long. I have a backlog of pencil sketches for a new site that will be launching in the near future that I need to ink and writing to do. Got contacted about another new project 2 days ago for the holidays, too. Busy boy am I.

I’m going to continue with the no set update schedule here for a while but starting next week I will start putting up the fan art I have done in my new format on a once or twice a week basis to wet your whistle.

This should leave time for my new Honey-do list.
