Hey all, its my birthday. And since it is my b-day, I have a present for you. You’ve heard me mention my upcoming “alt-press” project, yes? Well, here is a little sneak peek.

By the time I launch the site this little ditty will hopefully have played itself out of the media spotlight.

God, I truly hope it will be out of the spotlight.

It is always nice when someone shows an interest in your upcoming projects.

One of them may even be commissioned.

No, I’m not talking about the wedding this time…

…but I guess that would count, too.

3 hours last night painting my old workout room to turn it into my new guest room.

Maybe I’ll post a picture later.

That would count as artwork, right?

When I started this blog it was mainly supposed to be an outlet for my random sketches and I-have-no-place-to-put-this ideas. At some point I got away from that.

As I have less and less time I find myself moe and more drawn back to that original idea. And so… I present you with yesterday’s staff meeting sketches. I’m not 100% sure what they are (one is a dragon, I think) but I am pretty sure I don’t care.

I like ‘em anyway.

What I want to share with you today is this awesome short film my buddy Darren did the music and special effects for. Darren and his wife Dawn moved to New Zealand back in November and now he finds himself working at Weta. Almost makes me want to move.

Anyway, the following was done as part of a 48hour movie making contest. Check it out.

Yeah so its excuse time for why I missed yesterday’s post and still nothing to show for it today. Well, I’m busy. MAD busy. Every time I turn around there is something else I forgot to do. So its official, I am now off schedule. I’ll be posting but the “what” & “when” is now up in the air. I’ll still be throwing up Doogles and Meditation stuff but I’m not going to hold myself to any set schedule. Who knows, some days I may even do more than one (don’t hold your breath).

So without further ado here is a list of things I am working on / have coming up in the near future:

1. Getting married in under 2 months.

2. New Sci-Fi comic venture with my partner, Lee Cherolis.

3. Finishing up the illustration for this year’s ABC Basset Rescue Fall Picnic.

4. Getting married in under 2 months.

5. Prepping my house for my future wife’s stuff (i.e. throwing mine out)

6. Designing a new basset rescue’s logo & mascot

7. Launching a new solo one-panel alt-press style comic.

8. Putting in new floors (ripping up old ones).

9. Day job where 3 designers do the work of 6.

&

10. GETTING MARRIED IN UNDER 2 MONTHS!!!
