Wow, Thursday snuck up on me quick.

I’ve got nuthin’.

R2KickU

The above sketch is from a Sketch-a-ton type panel at Balticon over the weekend. Basically they pulled 6 cards from a ninja vs robot card game and then the panel had to draw their interpretation. This was actually my second sketch after the audience let me have it because I drew something that wasn’t quite funny enough. I’m glad they pushed me. And hey… lens flare.

Got to see a lot of webcomics folk that I ussualy run into at cons: Barb & Chris, Onezumi & Harknel, Rob Balder as well as a bunch of other folks in various entertainment professions.

The cool new meet of the con was a couple of guys from the Baltimore area, Nick & Marty, who do a really cool Zombie comic, Dead of Summer. Hopefully, within the next few months, along with J. Andrew World, we’ll be starting up a Baltimore offshoot of the Washington Webtoonists group. Definitely looking forward to that.

Take this job…

Its odd that this strip is set to go live on a day off. Hmmm…

I’ve got nothing other than that. I’ve spent the weekend hanging out wiith writers and webtoonists at Balticon 41 so I am a little spent. Good times, good times.

Doogles: Size Doesn’t Matter

Those of you who have been a round for a while (or have gone through the archives) may notice this line from one of my Basset on the Brain cartoons. I actually did this version first.

I decided to put this cartoon up today because last night my Fiancée decided to tell me she wanted a Chihuahua.

A Chihuahua.

Its not like I haven’t had a rat for a pet before.

Singing in the Rain

Looks like I may be doing mostly random sketches for a while until the Fall. I have quite a few things going on and I’m running out of time. But don’t worry. Weekly Meditations & Doogles will continue as scheduled. 4×4s however will probably have to wait.

Here is one of the first sketches of George:

Woke Up Dead

Well not today exactly. Last week I was quite a bit under the weather. Thursday, in particular, I felt like this. It started early in the week when my allergies started to kick in and lowered my resistance. That is when a cold swooped in to kick my sorry behind.

I got better.

Doogles: Looks So Good

My aunt and uncle have had chows pretty much since they’ve been married. Very cool dogs. They want to be right there with you when you are in the kitchen getting something to eat. They aren’t supposed to be but they want to be.

Hence the please feed me look.
