See, its a puppy dress like a leprechaun… Get it?

Oh you people never understand my genius. The funny part is I have banned my fiancée from ever dressing up my dog. Obviously I have no problem drawing dogs in silly outfits.

Another unfinished Basset on the Brain for you today. this is one of my favorites and I never came up with a line that I thought did it justice. I also absolutely love the coloring job Lee did on this one.

Now if I could just find a little bit of that peace myself.

Yeah…uh…maybe there is something wrong with me.

Where did this come from? My fiancée has some thoughts that I’m not about to share here. I’ve definitely broken out of that dog specific category, huh?

Though a lot of my creations seem to be based on monkeys, don’t they?

Alright, admittedly this one isn’t going to mean a lot to a whole lot of people. What you are looking at here is a caricature of the two guys who run my local comic book shop, Marc Nathan and Chuck I-don’t-know-his-last-name.

Marc is pretty darn well connected in the comic world, at least it seems that way to me. He is also one of the man behind the Baltimore Comic-con. About 4 years ago when I wasn’t too sure I should even bother getting into this game I showed these guys my work and was given a pretty favorable appraisal. Just enough to give me the confidence to try it out.

So Saturday I drew this and took it over as a thank you.

Of course, Frank Cho (I believe) had to be doing an autograph session at the store at the time. I was so embarrassed because it looked like a set up when I really was just trying to be nice. Ah well.

I got me some cable. I’ve been without for a few years now but there was a decent enough package deal offered so I took it. Now I’m getting to waste time watching all the shows that I didn’t know I missed.

But if you will excuse me, I have to go call my company up. there is already a problem with my service.

The adaptation of Frank Miller’s graphic novel 300 opens today and I can not wait to see it. About a month ago Lee and I created this cartoon for Bassets on the Brain but never used it. I thought today was an appropriate day to pull it out.
