Here is a quick little series to take you through the weekend. This is the first of a trio of cartoons Lee and I had done for Bassets on the Brain. It came about after I was walking Frances one day and we ran into an adorable husky pup.

My fiancée and I joined a gym at the beginning of the month (gotta look good in the tux). This isn’t exactly a new thing for me but for the first time ever I am actually doing cardio along with my lifting and I like it. In my 30 years of planetary existence I have NEVER enjoyed cardio.

Worst of all… I run on a treadmill.

I spent a good part of last night watching the movie The Island. Not the greatest but since all I was looking for was some mindless fun… no harm done. Though I think this harkens more to The Mysterious Island which is a Jules Verne book that I plan on reading eventually.

With much higher expectations.

I haven’t even accidentally flipped past Sesame Street in a long time. I have no idea what corner of my mind this one popped out of.

I wanted to make sure I had something drawn for Today over the weekend but I’ve been having a bit of creator’s block lately. (Like writer’s block but pertaining to everything I do.) Luckily Frances was able to pull me out of it by doing absolutely nothing.

She’s good at that.

Well, I started the week out with a coffee critter I figured why not end it with a different kind of stain. I’ve been fighting off a cold for the past couple of days so I’ve had plenty of green tea bags laying around. A couple even made it onto a 4×4.
